Webcomic 50 – The Inverse Clothing Law

Have you ever noticed that the colder a region is, the less clothing runners wear in the winter? I have been running in California will runners wearing layers of high-tech gear and still feeling chilled at 45 degrees but been on trails in the northeast and found runners wearing shorts and simple long-sleeved shirts when it was 10 degrees and snowing.

I call this phenomenon “the inverse clothing law of running.” Feel free to steal that name.

BTW, please support The Rails to Trails Conservancy and local efforts to convert unused railways into trails that will make a positive impact on your entire community. https://www.railstotrails.org/.
